Henry Wooldridge was an eccentric aristocrat and Civil War soldier, who built these haunted statues from 1892 until his death in 1899. Dubbed “The Strange Procession That Never Moves” these figures are perpetually waiting in line at the DMV.
If you’ve ever been to Mt Rushmore and thought “You know what would make this better? Make it one guy. Add his family. Give him pets. Make it spooky. Perfect.” then this place is for you. Legend has it that some nights you can even hear the “clip/clop” of Colonel Wooldridge riding his horse, Fop, through the cemetery.
